Professional Carpet Cleaning Certifications
Like many people, you probably look at different labels on products and might assume because the company puts it on their site, the company must be good. However, have you ever wondered what these certifications really mean to you? At Steam-Pro, we take pride in what we do. As a matter of fact, we have a passion for being the very best professional carpet cleaners in the Dallas, Fort Worth and surrounding areas in the DFW Metroplex. We don't just say we are the best... We actually guarantee the cleaning job we do and make sure our clients are 100% satisfied.

However, our story starts over 25 years ago. Understanding our clients have choices, early on, we took the time to listen to the needs of our commercial clients. They have to continue to do business as usual and we made sure we would work around their schedule 24/7. As you can see on our CLIENTS PAGE, Steam-Pro Customers become "Customers for Life". They get to spend more time with what they do best and allow Steam-Pro to do what we do best, which is Cleaning Carpet better than anyone else in North Texas!
The IICRC is the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a non-profit organization for the Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Industries. The IICRC, originally named the International Institute of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Inc. (IICUC), was founded in 1972 by Ed York. Since starting in 1972, the IICRC has evolved into a global organization with more than 60,000 active Certified Technicians and more than 6,000 Certified Firms around the world.
The mission of the IICRC is to establish and advance globally recognized standards and certifications for the inspection, cleaning, restoration and installation industries.
The IICRC Standards serve to develop common, industry-accepted language and terminology that enables us to more universally discuss concepts and procedures regarding cleaning, inspection and restoration. The IICRC is an American National Standards institute (ANSI) member and accredited standards developer. ANSI is responsible for overseeing the development of national consensus standards and verifying that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other criteria for approval have been met by the standard's developer. The use of an American National Standard (ANS) is completely voluntary. However, some have been adopted as code or regulation by local, state or federal authorities. They are also considered "state of the art" in the area of contamination control.
